Ordnance Survey is the UK’s national mapping agency and is a self-funded government department, responsible for the creation and delivery of a huge array of geographical and map-based products, from paper tourist maps to the multi-layer digital mapping product MasterMap, used by local authorities, utilities, insurance, telecoms and government departments as an integrated component of complex business systems. The sales and professional services teams at the Ordnance Survey play a crucial role in helping these major customers derive maximum benefit from the use of OS data products within diverse IT environments.
We deliver commercial awareness and sales skills development programmes to the Professional Services and Marketing groups within the Ordnance Survey to improve the overall effectiveness of the combined sales, marketing and professional services teams.
The Redline workshop has given us a well-structured framework of relevant commercial skills, delivered in a very informative format with easily useable techniques, relevant to our roles. We particularly appreciated the relaxed, well-paced delivery style from a knowledgeable and experienced trainer, with a good balance of exercises, discussion, video and practical detail. What’s next?
