Nick Constable
Nick has over 20 years of sales experience, having begun his sales career in 1986 with NCR, a company renowned for its excellent sales training culture. Since then, Nick has held senior sales and marketing positions for start-ups, medium-sized companies and major global organisations, mostly in the IT sector. Nick has the proven experience to help drive real business improvements for clients through sales development programmes & market research. Nick has developed and closed sales pipelines from scratch for start-ups, has recruited, trained and led large sales teams, managed global clients for Fortune 100 companies, and driven growth in the demanding environment of quarterly business cycles for NASDAQ listed companies.
Nick was previously Sales Director at MapInfo Corp, a $200M global business intelligence software company, where he also managed a large Professional Services Group. Prior to MapInfo, Nick was Sales Director at Eqos Systems, a leading UK software company specialising in supplier management solutions. Nick previously held senior management positions at QAS, where he was Marketing Director; Sun Microsystems, and Lotus Development, a subsidiary of IBM. In addition to these permanent roles, Nick has recently undertaken interim assignments for Autodesk, as Sales Director for two Northern European business divisions.
Nick has a B.A. Honours degree in Modern Languages from the University of Exeter, and is married with three daughters.
